Executive Branch Heads Continue to Accept Trips Paid by Firms They Regulate

"At a time when Congress has moved to ban most lobbyist-funded travel, executive- branch officials are routinely accepting trips from companies and trade associations with a stake in their agencies' decisions, according to a USA TODAY review of public records."

One of the first things the Democratic congress does when gaining a majority in 2007 was to change ethics rules to remove giveaways like this. Bush doesn't see a problem with it. Likes getting free stuff from his position of power.
