Another Government Official Goes Straight Over To High-Paid Lobbyist

The nation's top aviation regulator is under criticism for accepting a job as head of a trade group that frequently lobbies for the aviation industry on government spending and policy.

Do you see what's going on here? Bureaucrats are assuring themselves high-paying positions right after they leave office by doing what they can while they're IN office to help specific industries/companies. The same thing happens all the time, and was especially prevalent after the Prescription Drug bill. These practices do not fit within the concept of free-market capitalism, they are not ethical, or partisan, or impartial. They are cronyism. It is the rot that is eating away at the inside of our republic. Neither Republicans nor Democrats are addressing this, Ron Paul is. You can support more of the same in 2008, or you can vote for restoring credibility to our system.
