The Cost Of Bush: $32 Trillion

"The federal government's fiscal exposures totaled approximately $53 trillion as of September 30, 2007, up more than $2 trillion from September 30, 2006, and an increase of more than $32 trillion from about $20 trillion as of September 30, 2000," Walker said. "This translates into a current burden of about $175,000 per American or approximately $455,000 per American household."

Paul in his own words. Worth a read, if you really think this man is qualified to lead the United States and would take us in a positive direction.

Your response to an attack on the hypocritical policies of a guy you still support is to post an article about Ron Paul, questioning him with a vague statement of his qualifications?

I think it is completely appropriate.

Hearing what RP has to say about the Civil war, the civil rights act of 1964, pork spending for his own district, (and a bonus of his thoughts on evolution) are germaine to your attempts to call out the fiscal excesses of the current administration.

BTW, what is the current tax burden of the "American Household"? For what it is worth, the "rich" pay for just about everything, so citing spending figures, per person, is ridiculious.

How are those things germane to fiscal policy?
