Bill of Rights Under Bush: A Timeline

If these government acts were indeed unconstitutional, wouldn't the Supreme Court overturn them when an actual case were brought forth?

You don't recognize courts as political bodies, swayed by the politics and politicians of the time? My read of history is much different than yours.
Bush has been a very secret President as well, and has covered much of what he's done using "national security" as the excuse. The torture post above is a good example. Bush is trying to keep people who we tortured, but never officially accused of a war crime, from speaking about how we tortured them. He's covering himself.
Perhaps we will only find out about his full actions once he's out of office and he's no longer able to block our efforts to see what he's been up to.
You keep valuing so-called "security" over freedom, though, if it makes you feel good. You keep waiting for the courts to catch up. Don't rely on your own mind and your own conscience.

That is just silly. The facts are, the abuses to liberty are so small, that they are not subject to the numerous checks and balances of our system. Yes, I welcome Bush's time out of office and the discovery of "what he's been up to." You will find what Giraldo found in Al Capone's vault. Nothing.
